Terms & Conditions

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all quotes, work, agreements and services provided by WhiteFish, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

2. Services

WhiteFish provides support, advice and execution in IT consultancy, computer systems, cybersecurity and other IT services. WhiteFish does not sell hardware, but may purchase small components on behalf of the client.

3. Rates and invoicing

• ·Services are charged per hour, per hour bundle or per project, depending on the nature of the assignment.
• ·Each intervention has a minimum of one working hour, unless agreed otherwise in writing.
• ·For private individuals, rates are inclusive of VAT and as listed on the website or confirmed in advance.
• ·For professional clients, rates are exclusive of VAT and as listed on the website, in a quote or in a separate agreement.
• ·Travel costs and other additional costs are communicated in advance and listed separately on the invoice.
• ·Invoices are payable within 30 days of the invoice date.
• ·Late payment may result in reminder and collection fees in accordance with Belgian legislation.

4. Cancellation

Cancellation is free of charge as long as no work has been carried out. Work already performed will be charged in full.

5. Liability

WhiteFish is not liable for data loss, system failures, indirect damage or loss of profit. The client is responsible for making backups.

6. Warranty

Components purchased on behalf of the client are covered by the statutory EU warranty of two years.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties commit to not sharing confidential information with third parties.

8. Force majeure

WhiteFish may suspend services in case of force majeure, such as power outages, network problems, cyber incidents or illness.

9. Applicable law

Belgian law applies to these conditions. Disputes fall under the courts of Hasselt.

10. Changes

WhiteFish reserves the right to modify these conditions. The latest version applies to new assignments.
